Why support Sonic Timelapse Project?

1. Support Choral Art
  • Your donation helps to commission new works from Canadian composers. It gets that new music into the hands of struggling choirs and helps support their virtual rehearsing.
2. Stimulate Creativity
  • The Sonic Timelapse Project is tapping into the emotional landscape of choral artists during the pandemic, and using the creative potential inherent there to create new musical works and offer enrichment opportunities to as many choirs as possible.
3. Build Legacy
  • Have your name or the name of your business name recognized as a co-commissioner on the sheet music of a new Sonic Timelapse work as well as on our website if you donate $250 or more. Email us at sonictimelapse@gmail.com if this interests you!
4. Build Community
  • Help choirs connect with each other and with Canadian composers.
5. Spread Positivity
  • Singing in a choir has a profoundly positive impact on physical, mental, spiritual, and social health. Lead by example and show your support for choral art!
BONUS:
  • All individual donors who contribute over $20 will be invited to join our private Facebook members’ group where they can follow the project’s development!
  • Donations over $25 will receive a tax receipt via Canada Helps.
